The Land of Stories Wishing Spell
by Chris Colfer

This book was a good spin on
fairy tales. I liked how all the fairy
tale characters come to life. But,
the author still had all the chore
parts of the fairy tales.

The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight
by R.L. Stine

I learned that teamwork is important
in life, and yes I’d recommend this
to a friend that sorta doesn’t like teamwork…
Maybe it’d change his mind.

Whatever After: Abby In Wonderland
by Sarah Mlynowski

I think this book was
amazing if you love the
book Alice In Wonderland.
I love all the adventures that
she went on with all her
friends. I love how they
use their teamwork. Abby
is very kind but a little spunky
with her friends.

The Doll People
by Ann M. Marbin

I would recommend
this to anyone it is
amazing. It is the first
book of the 7 book
series

Heroes of Mt. Olympus
by Rick Riordan

I loved this book ,I learned
not to give up and believe in
what other people say, I would
recommend this to anyone.

 The One and Only Ivan
by K.A. Applegate

The One and Only Ivan talks about
a circus that is in a mall, that shows
the animals held in captivity and a
rescue sanctuary saves them. Oh,
and Ivan the silverback gorilla can
understand TV and can paint. -Angelina
The One and Only Ivan is a book that
has a great ending but at the beginning
it is really boring and it seems like the
whole book is the same but it gets interesting
and has a twist ending. -Addy

Harry Potter and the Chamber
of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

I think this book is great
for someone who is wanting
a mystery.  I liked this book
because I think it was very
interesting because of the
magic and things.

Towers Falling
by Jewell Rhodes

I think this book was very informing. The reason I
gave this 4 stars is because it can be sad.
This book describes things in a way that
makes you think you're there.
-Townes Schroeder
I give this book 5 stars because it talks
about history in a fun and sad way. But,
what I really love about this book is how
emotional it can get and learning all of
the characters' feelings and also how much
work was put into making this book.
-Maddy Sanders

Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone
by J.K.Rowling

I would recommend this to anyone. It is amazing! It is
the first book of the 7 book series

Unidentified Suburban Objects
by Mike Jung

The reason I wouldn’t recommend this book to my friends is because the author wrote it in such a detailed way that it takes a chapter or two to explain one thing.  The story line is all over the place. One chapter is about a completely different subject than the last one, but it is a bluebonnet book.  So, if you want to be on the Battle of the Books team you should probably read it.

I Funny
by James Patterson

I would personally rate this book 4 out of 5,because all the characters don’t blend together as well as other books but the story is well executed. Over all a really well rounded book!
